Q+Termik
Thermal Paint
Protect and Save: Thermal Energy Paint,
the best shield against heat
Q+TERMIK OUTDOOR
Q+TERMIK Interior
Reduces heat leakage by improving insulation. This is achieved thanks to its higher opacity in the near infrared compared to other paints. In addition, it incorporates an active agent with silver ions (Ag+) that has bactericidal capacity, maintaining light reflection throughout the life of the paint as it does not darken.
What is Q+TERMIK for?
The main advantage is a temperature reduction of approximately 20% compared to similar paints in terms of opacity and whiteness, achieving up to 40°C of thermal difference from the exterior to the interior in the treated external areas.
This feature of Q+TERMIK allows energy savings in the areas where it is applied by not allowing so much temperature to pass through thermal transmission, since each degree that reduces the interior temperature of a house, means an energy saving of 7%.
Indications
- Suitable for application on any porous surface (for non-porous surfaces a primer is required, we recommend our Q+PRIMER).
- In case of application on already painted surfaces, remove those with poor adhesion or flaking.
- Do not dilute with water more than 10% and shake before use.
- At the time of application, surfaces must be dry and clean.
- Do not apply if rainfall is expected within two hours after application or at temperatures below 5°C.
- It is not recommended to wash the walls until 24 days have elapsed (dry to the touch 1h).
- It can be applied by brush, spray, roller or electrostatically.
In the case of a roof with solar panels, the reduction of the surface temperature improves the performance of the equipment since the electronics work at a lower temperature, between 10 °C and 20 °C, combined with the diffuse radiation that the panel receives from the treated surface, resulting in an increase in the performance of the panels of between 5 and 8%.
